at Merit Academy Preschool



Merit students begin learning how to write in preschool.

At Merit, learning to write starts in preschool.

Preschoolers start writing by dictating stories to their teachers and then tracing the stories. Soon after, they begin to write words and sentences by sounding out each word using the character sounds and phonograms they have learned.
